RISE Dance To Open Brand New Dance Studio in Farsley, Leeds

RISE Dance have opened a brand new studio this

October at SPRINGFIELD MILL, FARSLEY, LEEDS. Ever since the school rebranded in 2019, searching for a permanent space has been the next natural step. The new venture at Springfield Mill will comprise of four brand new studio spaces complete with cushioned wooden dance flooring, surround sound music system, mirrors and fresh air ventilation.

After being forced to close for almost twenty weeks due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the dance school has found itself overwhelmed with support from loyal customers who have been desperate to get back to their dance lessons. RISE Dance is now excited to be able to offer a brand new Covid secure space which allows them to continue their now socially distanced, weekly dance lessons.

“The pandemic has created a number of challenges for the dance industry and dance schools. We’ve been really overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from our existing customers and we want to take care of them during the pandemic. It has given us the push to create a better environment. We’ve found a lot of our students benefit from coming to us in more ways than just learning how to dance. For a lot of our dancers it is a weekly escape from the stress of day to day life and it also helps improve physical and mental health. For our children it allows them to develop coordination skills, builds confidence and self-esteem and is a fantastic fun way for them to keep fit.

Our new studio provides us the opportunity to create the perfect dancing environment, whilst also being a Covid secure space. It is our way of thanking our dancers for all their support during these difficult times and we hope to welcome lots of new people who would like to learn to dance.”  - said Rosie Gentile, Director and Principal at RISE Dance.

In addition to the new space, the team at RISE have put in place a number of social distancing measures to ensure that all classes moving forward are safe but so that life for the dance school is able to continue in as much of a normal way as possible.
