General Guidelines for all Dance & Fitness Classes

  • Please be courteous to fellow students and instructors by arriving on time for your classes and lessons, as late arrivals cause disruption.

For fitness classes, it is mandatory to participate in the warm-up session to join the class.

Ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for your class. RISE Dance & Fitness cannot be held responsible for accidents or injuries related to inappropriate attire or faulty equipment.

CCTV operates throughout the premises to ensure the safety of customers and staff.

Clean up after yourself in all studio areas. Please dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.

The soles of shoes worn on the dance floor must be clean.

Maintain professional relationships between teachers and students while on the premises.

During studio social events or parties, please drink responsibly. Staff may intervene to stop alcohol consumption if necessary.

  • All instructors are fully qualified and trained in their respective disciplines.
  • Inform staff of any health concerns prior to attending classes or lessons.
  • Consult a healthcare professional if you have health concerns or pre-existing conditions before participating.

Acknowledgement of Risk and Liability

I (the "Client") acknowledge the potential risk of physical injury in participating in dance classes, workshops, rehearsals, or performances. I voluntarily assume all risks and accept full responsibility for any injury or accident to myself or my child during RISE Dance & Fitness activities. I release and indemnify RISE Dance & Fitness, its owners, employees, and associates from any claims or liability arising from participation. I agree to be mindful of my physical limitations and ensure my child does the same. If signing for my child, I confirm I am the parent or legal guardian with the authority to waive these rights.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice for appointment bookings will incur a charge of 50% of the service fee.
  • Same-day cancellations or no attendance to your appointment will be charged at 75% of the service fee.
  • For PAYG group classes (including FitSteps and Adult Solo Dance Classes), cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will not be refunded.
  • For package bookings, cancellations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any eligible refunds will be pro-rated based on the number of used sessions.
  • We allow a grace period of 2 hours after booking to cancel any session without penalty.
  • For 4-weekly packages for both children and adult classes, payment secures your place in the class even if you miss a session. Missed classes cannot be rolled over into a new package.
  • For adult classes, if two or more classes are missed in a 4-week package and no alternative class swap can be provided by RISE Dance, RISE Dance may offer a 30-minute private lesson as a replacement. This private lesson can be credited toward a full hour of tuition. Any credit offered will be valid for 12 months only.  This policy applies only if RISE Dance is notified of the absence at least 48 hours in advance. Attempts to swap classes must be made before redeeming credits for missed sessions.
  • RISE Dance reserves the right to waive the 48-hour package cancellation deadline in the event of an emergency, still allowing for class swaps.
  • Special event or workshop cancellations must adhere to specific terms provided at the time of booking.
  • If RISE Dance cancels a class or lesson and no suitable alternative is available, a refund will be provided. Refunds for canceled lessons will be processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank's processing time. Clients will be notified promptly of any cancellations.

REFUNDS

  • Refunds for group classes, private lessons, or packages are at the discretion of RISE Dance & Fitness.
  • Refunds for agreed items will be processed promptly but may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.
  • Custom-ordered apparel, such as kit items, is non-refundable.
  • Non-custom apparel may be refunded at RISE Dance & Fitness’s discretion, provided it is unused and in "brand new" condition.
